Job Description


We are helping a financial services company hire a service design and user experience expert into their customer experience team to help with a number of programmes currently being stood up. The work will focus on customer journey mapping and optimisation across physical and digital touchpoints. They are looking for someone until the end of the year to start with. But the requirement is for a longer period of time and they will be looking to extend after that time. 


If you are a dedicated contract professional in the service design or user experience industry then we want to hear from you. It could also suit a BA or PM with a strong interest in the area.


The position is a mixture of remote and in-office (Dublin). The day rate is dependent on experience. If this sounds like you please read on and get in touch.


Your experience: 

  • Relevant experience in service design or related role such as user experience design or design research 

  • Passionate about service design creating human-centred services. 

  • Knowledge of existing and emerging service design tools and methods. 

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written. 

  • Experience in running online and offline workshops. 

  • Accustomed to working collaboratively with clients and cross-functional team members. 

  • Experience creating:

    • stakeholder maps

    • empathy maps

    • Interview scripts

    • workshop boards and activities

    • service blueprints

    • customer journey maps

Set yourself apart: 

  • Experience producing user experiences design deliverables such as screen flows, wireframes and prototypes. 

  • Experience quantitative research methodologies and draw insights from data.

  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders about design methodologies and artefacts.
