    We are working with a leading global provider of learning and exam preparation software. They are in a significant growth phase and are looking to hire a talented software developer with Ruby on Rails expertise if possible. The current development team consists of two developers with plans to expand this to a  team of 6 in the next 12 months. 

    You will be required to split your time between building new features and maintaining and evolving existing tuition and exam preparation features. This is an opportunity to build educational and training products that directly impact the students ability to succeed in professional exams carried out across the world.

    You will beed to have/ be:

    Excellent understanding of Ruby or a similar Object Oriented Language 

    Ruby on Rails experience is a bonus 

    Proficient with Relational Database experience [PostgreSQL or MySQL] 

    Familiarity with concepts of MVC 

    Front-end framework experience with HTML5, CSS3 & jQuery 

    Kendo UI JS library is a benefit or other front-end JS libraries 

    Ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests [RSPEC] 

    Code versioning tools, primarily GIT 

    Third level degree in computer science or similar 

    Full legibility to work in Ireland.

    Measure and optimise performance of media and conversion rates by creating and owning an analytics reporting function.

     

    Measure the return on investment from your digital marketing tactics using analytics and reporting tools.

     

    Work closely with your colleagues and with industry stakeholders to really understand what your customer wants and to put in place project plans to deliver on those needs.

     

    What you will need to have/ be:

     

    You are currently working as manager or senior manager in a digital marketing role.

     

    You have a broad range of skills that covers managing performance media, email/ CRM marketing campaigns, SEO, CRO, content strategy and analytics.

     

    Experience working in a ecommerce business is a plus, although not essential to an application.
